Unlock flight skills with our hands-on Drone Flying Workshop. Students learn the basics of aviation safety, drone controls, camera movement, and real-world flight skills through guided indoor and outdoor practice. This workshop is fun, beginner-friendly, and designed specifically for Houston youth and families.
This experience is open to ages seven and up. It is ideal for youth programs, beginners, returning students, parents seeking enrichment, and anyone excited to explore drone technology.
Instructors guide students through takeoff procedures, directional controls, cinematic movements, obstacle navigation, and aerial awareness. Every student completes a guided practice flight by the end of each session.

Workshop Packages:
Single Workshop provides one hands-on flight session and is perfect for first-time flyers or curious beginners.
Full Workshop Series provides multiple flight sessions, allowing students to develop confidence, consistency, and advanced control. This option offers the strongest progression and overall value.
Equipment Information:
All drones are provided for workshop use. Personal drones may be brought if preferred and approved by the instructor.
Workshop Location:
Workshops are held at our Houston studio and designated outdoor practice areas. Full details are sent by email after registration.
Workshop Duration:
Each session runs between sixty and ninety minutes depending on class progress.

This workshop is part of the Raya Sunshine Youth Arts Initiative, a Houston nonprofit committed to providing youth with access to technology, creativity, and confidence-building programs. Every registration supports local youth programs and community development.
